A historical journey passed down through generations since 1850.

Founded in 1984, Officine Rami represents the final stage of the historical journey of the brand Rami, which dates back to the year 1850 and lived through several generations of the Rami family.

It all starts in the small town of Motteggiana, south from Mantova, a history made of goals achieved and constant growth. An Italian company that offers products for the commercial refrigeration sector, such as night curtains and glass doors for refrigerated display cases, as well as mosquito nets and technical blinds for home interiors.

From the production of horse carriages to iron and aluminium processing: a Made in Italy story that flows through centuries.

Over the years, Officine Rami has worked to expand its range of products and services, proudly relying on a young and dynamic staff, as well as specialized production units. Our sales network provides customers worldwide with both commercial and technical support, as well as a complete set of components and original spare parts. direct presence in over fifty countries, with a contribution of almost 47% to our yearly turnover.

The historical presence of Officine Rami is marked by its profound experience, reliability, and solidity, proving also Rami’s strong ability to always reinvent itself, adapting to the pace of the evolution of the demand over the years. This resulted in the evolution of the brand from the production of horse carriages in the mid-1800s, to mechanical bodywork during the early years car industry, iron processing around middle of 1900s, into its present activity of aluminium processing which dates back to the 1970s.

A key moment in the early 1980s that set the decisive transformation of Rami from a small and handcraft company to a small industrial enterprise, leading to continuous expansion. The exceptional growth in the 1980s and 1990s in the Italian market made us appreciate the need to widen our perspectives to a larger dimension. The strategic choice to invest first in European and American markets, and more recently in emerging countries that will be the key actors of global economic growth in the coming years, brought us on a complex but rewarding journey, giving us the possibility and weapons to face the economic crisis of recent years.
